About Epic Forge: who am I and why did I build this?

Whether you’re managing recurring projects or need to replicate complex epic structures, Epic Forge reduces the manual overhead, saving you time and cutting down on repetitive tasks.

Who am I?

My name is François, and I’m a software engineer with a passion for building tools that make life easier.

I’m originally from Paris🇫🇷 but I moved to Tokyo🗼 in 2005.

I’ve worked in various industries in a variety of roles, from development to project management. I’m always looking for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency, which is why I created Epic Forge.

Why did I build this?

As someone who has spent countless hours managing projects in Jira during my career in big multinational organizations, I saw firsthand how repetitive it could be to recreate similar sets of issues over and over.

I had a scratch to itch, so I built the first version of Epic Forgeas an personal tool to solve this problem for myself. The next step was to offer it to other Jira users who also value their time. My goal is to make project management more efficient by providing an intuitive way to clone, manage, and export issue templates with flexibility and ease.
